Completely random...

1. Congratulations to my cousin Kim's husband, Randy....the New York State Class A High School Football Coach of the Year!!

2. I now have an Australia dot!! Thanks to whoever stopped by to visit...if you ever do again, please say "hi". I'd love to know how you found my little blog.

3. Oscar update...changing my Best Movie pick. Now I'm going to say either Little Miss Sunshine or The Departed. (I know, waffling between two again!) I think I'm allowed though since I made my other picks so early. I should have waited until after the SAG awards.

4. HUGE MUSIC NEWS...GENESIS is touring...with my absolute favourite, Phil!!! I've heard that Sept. 7 will be a Toronto stop. If anyone hears anything else or when tickets go on sale, PLEASE let me know. I saw them years ago...when they "couldn't dance"...dragged Marianne and Marlene along...they still think Phil can't dance. The concert was fabulous...can't wait...soooo exciting!!!

5. Amazing Race All-Stars starts Feb. 18. It's going to be so good..I saw the teams today...you won't believe it! Remember Charla and Mirna?? There's also Rob and Amber, Kevin and Drew, Joyce and Uchenna, the Beauty Queens from the last one, and Kentucky.

6. Emily Quote of the Week. I can't remember why but she was upset because she couldn't do something or go somewhere. All of a sudden she says "This just isn't the life I planned!". Of course it was said with much angst and drama!

7. Jesse Quote of the Week. After dinner Jesse left the table and I asked him to come and put the ketchup in the fridge. He was already busy playing and without even looking up at me carried on the following conversation (or debate, depending how you look at it!):
Jesse - can't you do it mama, I'm already way over here
Me - no, you can come and help, it will only take a second
Jesse - can't you please, it would be polite of you to help me, you know!
