HUMILIATION...THY NAME IS JUDY!!
THE GOOD....
Tonight I had the pleasure of going to see 27 DRESSES with my fellow bloggers Holly and Bridget. The movie was VERY good, we had a lot of laughs, and somehow I think I've been talked into drinking & karaoke for our next adventure in the near future! That definitely has something to do with the hilarious bar scene in the movie where too many shots and Bennie and the Jets were the highlight. Did you know the lyrics are electric boobs, not boots?
Katherine Heigl is perfect for this role. She really should concentrate on movies. I'm not crazy about her character on Grey's but love her in the movies. Don't miss her in Knocked Up...oh, I forgot, everyone's seen that except Holly! LOL!!
James Marsden is, well, hot and he has great...cheekbones! I think this is my favourite role of his so far, which is saying a lot considering how good he was in Enchanted and Hairspray.
Edward Burns, what can I say, I had such a crush on him after seeing his movie THE BROTHERS MCMULLEN many years ago. I'd definitely recommend that movie if you've never seen it. He wrote, directed and starred in it. He kind of came out of nowhere with it and became the new Hollywood "one to watch". Now, not so much, he's not quite so, well, hot and that nasally (is that a word?) voice of his drives me crazy.
Thanks for a great time ladies and Bridget, it was a pleasure to finally meet you!
THE BAD...
Those sneaky little policemen...just sitting around in their dark cars with no lights on, in deserted parking lots, just waiting for some poor unsuspecting soccer mom like myself to go by, driving just a teensy weensy bit over that too-low-in-my-opinion speed limit. Yes, go ahead and chuckle, my unblemished (well, at least 5 years now!) driving record has now been tarnished to the tune of some amount that I honestly didn't even look at yet. Oh, but at least he was thoughtful enough to take back the second ticket he wrote for my very out of date insurance cards when I managed to come up with the most recent out of date one. (insert curse words here!)
THE UGLY....
Speaking of chuckling, here you go...
1987 and the year of the Marx brothers eyebrows!
1990 and the hair gets bigger! In case you weren't sure, that's me in the back on the right.
1996 and lord, what the hell did I do to my hair! In case you weren't sure I'm the one in the white dress. Don't you love my ladies dresses...check out the satin Wonder Woman cuffs!
Ok, this was going way beyond the call of duty for my blog. Please stop laughing now!!!

Great pictures--thanks for posting them. Did you wear heels on your wedding day? :)
Oh my goodness Judy!!! That was hilarious!!! A perfect way to start the day!
Except for the ticket... Yikes... Sorry to hear about that!
Karaoke for sure!
Great photos! My hair was similar in those same times...you are definitely not alone!
Sorry, I don't think DH can get you out of a ticket that far away :-)
Oh, and I haven't seen Knocked Up, either...
I haven't seen Knocked Up either... seems like, Alissa, Holly and I are the only ones...
Great post! Love the dresses... so fun to look back
OMG - if I knew where my bridesmaid dresses were, I'd have scanned them too! Love the Wonder Woman cuffs AND the Miss American looking-sashes on the dresses for your wedding. You looked good though - in style (for the times...)...
Oh crap on the ticket! On your way home????
Karaoke and a Bar for sure -- anyone else in?
Nice pictures! I have a red bridesmaid dress very similar - was it a Christmas wedding by any chance? ugh.
OH!! I wish I lived up there. I'd so be going to the karaoke with you guys...and by the way...don't laugh about the "electric boobs" thing - for years I thought it said...She's got electric boobs, a moped too, you know I really am a pakistan. Oh yeah! Laugh all you want but I lived in Bramalea better known as Bramladesh so that explains it all! Right? ROFL!!
Thank you for making my day! Fabulous pictures!
All I can say is..."You wore white?"
Hey, I still think our dresses were really nice. (The purple wonderwomen cuff/Miss America looking sash) I haven't seen Knocked Up either. I think you should host a party at your plave and we can all watch it. Yikes too bad about the ticket although my guess is (at that rate) you were going more than just a little over the speed limit? - marianne
